My two friends and I planned to go on a vacation somewhere in Cebu last July. We decided to go to Alcoy after searching and reading travel blogs online. We stayed in Alcoy for 3 days and visited neighboring places such as Dalaguete and Oslob.
DAY-1
We ride a bus bound to Alcoy from Cebu South Bus Terminal. You can also ride buses bound to Boljoon or Oslob. Bus schedule is every 30 minutes. We ride the 9:30 AM schedule and shortly after 4 hours we arrived in Alcoy, bus fare was 120php. We stayed in Larville Pool Garden Resort and Restaurant. This place was recommended by our officemate saying how relaxing the place is because sort of a private rest house that was opened to tourists.

After taking a little rest and eating our lunch, we visited the Sta. Rosa de Lima church just 5 minutes from Larville.

| Look how the trees are properly lined up. |

| Abandoned playground beside the trees but we saw three kids hanging around there which is quite dangerous since some are rusty already. |

The church is actually right beside their public market. You can see a sign going to this heritage cave, curiosity will strike but friendly advise, do not go to that cave because that will be the most regretful thing you'll ever do in your entire life. The cave I expected isn't there , even a glimpse of it can't be seen. The only thing you can see is a small opening of a hole with tall carabao grass surrounding it. Can't even see what's inside because it's too dark. Plus, this local that guided us to that "cave" is quite scary. Talking in taglish despite of telling her that we can understand bisaya. She also keeps on licking her tongue (which is very improper to me) BUT the upside of choosing to follow the directions to the heritage cave is this infinity view of the open sea.
After visiting the church we went to Dalaguete for the Obong Spring. We ride a tricycle, fare is 15php. Did a 300meters walk down to the spring which was little troublesome since the way to the spring is a residence area. People hanging outside their houses looks at you like judging who you are, what's your nationality - I ignored them by chatting with my friends in english. HAHAHA! Shortly after a 10-15 minutes of walking we reached the Obong Spring.

We decided to go home by walking back to where we stayed, dip in the swimming pool while waiting for our dinner to be set then we went back to our room and rest.
